hey everyone, i need some help to set up my new system. as of right now, im running two jl audio 10w0's with a phoenix gold zx475, bridged to two channels. i have that powered with a 8gauge wire. now im doing some additions, and im not sure how to go about wiring the system. the new headunit is an eclipse av8132. the new sub amp is a memphis audio 16-mc500d thats rated at 500 watts rms. so now what... should i hook up my component speakers to the new eclipse headunit and sell the phoenix gold amp? or shoudl i keep that amp and use it to power the components. if so, would i need to buy another amp kit to get power to the other amp? should i be using 4 gauge or 8 gauge wire for power/ground? please give me some suggestions on what i should do and how i should do it. if anyone has any questions about the system, post them and ill be glad to answer. any help is appreciated. thanks!

I have two amps in my truck...one under each seat. I only have one power wire running down the driver side to the amp under the driver seat (8 gauge - but this depends on how much power you're sucking with your amps) and the RCA's going down the passenger side. So my sub amp is under the driver seat and my 4 channel amp powers the component speakers and is under the passenger seat. What I did is run power to the passenger side amp by bridging it from the driver side amp under the middle console to under the passenger seat. Then I did the same with the Sub RCA from under the passenger seat to under the driver seat. I set it up this way (running the sub RCA beside the power wire) so there is minimal interference to the RCA from the power wire (it sounds fine set up like this in mine - no interference). Plus it's only a very short distance to have them side by side.
