hey i just got a new subwoofer and a 1600 watt kicker amp and my friend instaled it everything was working fine until he pulled the cd player out and when he put it back in a wire must of came loose or something i dont know but now my interier lights r staying on i in plugged the int lights fuss and there still on i dont know what to do i think it has something to do with the wires behind the cd player i called a audio place boomers audio and they say it was a blown fuss can someone please help me out

ok lol im sorry about that ok heres whats wrong after my friend installed my amp the interior of the cab lights wont go off when i even tryed to disconnect the fuss but they r still staying on i dont know whats wrong some people r saying its just a blown fuss

after installing a cd player, amp and subs into my 89, the parking lights stay on whenever the key is on the "on" position. and if i turn on the headlights without the truck running the cd player turns on.

sounds like you need to check, and double check the illumination circuitry....

if you took one look at the wiring mess in my truck, you would sh*t yourself. the previous owner must have done something to it because it definetly did not come stock with the tangle of wires

sounds like your friend somehow wired a constant to your light. check the wires from your light switch and see if they connect to your head unit. by the way its fuse and not fuss. Are you from Tulsa?
