I'm thinking about getting a pair of Earthquake SWS12 subs. I've
got a regular cab, so I can't afford to give up much space and
the SWSs only have a 3" mounting depth (sws=shallow woofer
system). Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about
these subs or had any firsthand experiences. They handle
300RMS a piece I plan on hooking up the pair to a mono
Audiobahn amp that does 800RMS. Lemme know what you
think.

i have two kicker comp cvr 10s just those 2 slam. i know 4 must KNOCK. im pushing them with a rockford fosgate 900 watt 301s. i love the setup but im thinking of selling my subs and buying one solobaric 10. i want some serious drum action for rock music and stuff, im kinda sick of the slam for now. does this sound like a good idea? thanks

Yeah, I know what CVRs sound like cuz I got one 10" CVR now, but I don't have much space since its a reg cab, and my passenger seat is pushed way up cuz of the CVR's mounting depth (about 6"). I'm sure I could build a fiberglass enclosure that wouldn't take up as much space, but what i'm really looking for is the lower frequency response of a 12" sub. And the only way that I'd blow those subs is if I was an idiot and cranked 'em up full blast with the gain turned all the way up. You can blow any speaker with any amp, you just have to know what you're doing.
