Howzit! hey I was wondering if any of you dynamatted your vehicle before putting in your custom sounds? Is it worth it? Is there any alternative products that are comparative to dynamat? I saw one product on ebay but I really don't know anything about it. The name of the product is Tite-Seal. What is the difference using the spray versus the "pads"?

Thanks,
Robert

hey 808Dak, check out something called Brownbread...It is thicker and cheaper than dynamat...I used 2 layers of it in my truck, why not with the money that I saved I could afford 2 layers...works very well in my opinion...if you gonna do it you might as well go all out and do everything, outer skin, inner frame work, floor and the roof as well.

i put in a thunderoform with 2 10" subs.
shoulda put in the sound dampener too. now i will have to take off the panels again, go thru all that hassle again, just because i didn't want to spend money on dampener. doh!
now i know- definately a good idea, especially if you're taking your truck apart anyway.

Right on.. I will do that then. I seen some stuff called Fat Mat or something like that on EBAY 100 SQ FT for $100.00. I think I may grab that.

Thanks guys!
