I am working on getting the part for my system this week so i can get it installed next. I have a sony xplod Cd changer and the sony 5.25 speakers. I am about to order the rest of my system and want to make sure if its not just a good system, but that it will work out and i won't run into any problems when i go to get everything installed. I am getting 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1 10" Subs and a Pyramid PQ10 10" 2-Way Stereo Hatchback sub box. Since i only have 12' from the back seat to the back of the cab. So the box should fit very nicly, and the subs should also. I am also getting 5x7 infinity back speakers. The only think i want to make sure where i don't run into a problem is my amp. Im getting a rockford punch 501x 1500watt 4 channel amp. I want to run power to the back speakers and of course the 2 subs. In anyway will i run into any problems with the amp? Im almost 100% sure the subs will fit in the box, the subs deapth is 6 inch and the box is 7. If there is any comments or anything please just ask and tell. I want to make sure i get this all right now so there is less of a headack later on. Thats what message board are for right. Thanks for your help...

I would say to use the amp just for the subs. If you try to run the rear speakers and subs you wont be able to get full power from the amp. You may want to consider a second amp. I have found that Infinity Perfects have a slighly larger diameter than most subs. Check out the specs for the box and subs first unless you dont mind trimming a bit.

Na trimming it would not be a big deal as long as the fit the box. The box is 7 inch. and the sub is 5 3/4 inches. Since the front is on a downward slant i think it mite just fit....I know the box fits the truck...I ordered the subs yesterday and i will order the rest of the stuff. (Box and amp) tomorrow.. I think im just going to run the subs on an amp and if i want later on get another amp. How much watt amp should i get, i was thinking about 800watts should be good..

RF = good quality, higher price and cleaner sound

Lanzar = cheap quality, lower price and dirtier sound

If you get the RF and treat it right, it will be with you for a long time. I still have a Punch 150 that's almost 20 years old, still works great!

Ok i got the Rf 750s punch. I should be happy with that, but still am unsure how well my subs will fit in my box. Anyone have any comments about it?
