I just had a custom box made for my 2000 quad cab. It fits behind the rear seat without any mods made to the truck and completely hidden. I am packing 3 8" JL's pushed by a 500/1 JL amp. Sounds fantastic. Threw in new infinity door speakers in door panels and I am rocking. I have not complaints. It cost me a lot of money but it can be done. I still have all my seating space but the rear seats do not fold up now (small sacrifice).

Would you mind sending some pictures of your install? I have a 2000 QC as well and have been searching for ideas for my subs. Thanks!

I wish I did have a picture of the box. It is a nice custom job but I had it made @ Cartoys. They had the specs and design to build it. I will see if I can get some pictures and specs.

I have another question. Is the center console sub enough? Can I hook up the thunderform behind the rear seat and have this sub both from the same sub amp? Ive got an old Pioneer 400W amp from my last system about 8 years old.

I put my sub amp behind the back seat. Fits fine but the seat will not fold up all the way. The center sub box has plenty of bass for me but I am not into rap or anything like that Just good old Rock and Roll.

I just received my custom sub box from Ebay that replaces the center front seat in the 40/20/40 seats. The sellers id is HOTBOXES. I had him also put in a 8' JL Audio sub. The box looks great and is built very well. It has OEM material so it matches perfect. This guy is very friendly and great to deal with. Oh ya this box is far from ghetto

I too made custom boxes for my '02 Quad Cab. I have a pair of 8" Rockfords in them running from a 250 mono Rockford Amp. They are pretty good, but now I need configure my X-over within my Alpine CDA-9813 head unit.

If anyone is interested in pictures, send me an e-mail, and I'll endever to find them and put them up.

For anyone who is interested, I had one of those boxes built for my truck as well - worked out great...

Anyway, I never got around to installing it and since I am going back to school full time in a few weeks, my cash flow is a bit on the short side.

I'd be willing to part with the enclosure and the 8" Polk MOMO sub that I have for it for a fair price.

Let me know.
Thanks
Dave S
