 Subject: Subs in a 98 sport

I have a 98 dak sport with a std cab. I just got a JVC head unit i love and i have blown three of the four speakers

I want to get new speakers and subs. Any suggestions on brand? I am also 6' and dont want to lose a lot of room for the subs. Any ideas?
