im looking for new speakers for a 93, crutchfield says infinities dont fit, anyone have any recomendations for 5 1/4's and 5x7 also partsexpress.com has an adapter so u can mount a 6x9 in a 5x7 spot anyone ever done this and have enough room last question what is the max. depth of the speakers i could install

i put pioneer 5 1/4" up front and left the stocks in back.....are you sure that adapter lets u mount a 6x9 in a 5x7 or is to mount a 5x7 in a 6x9 hole? cause thats the only adapter i've seen

**** i think it is 6x9 speaker to 5x7 hole but i dont know how well it actaully works

I've got JBL 6 1/2 in the front, they fit fine. And Infinity 5x7 in the rear.
