I believe Crutchfield(www.crutchfield.com) sells an amp bypass for the infinity system for less than $10 and so does Metra(www.metraonline.com). Instead of cutting wires and potentially voiding your electrical/electronic warranty if anything fails, they'll try to blame it on your splice job if they can. For $10, that aggravation is not worth it so you should do it right IMO.
