Hello all,
I am replacing my Infinity front speakers in a QC with some components. My question is whether the amp has a built in crossover sending only mids to the door speaker? I am planning on taking the wires for the door speaker and run them to my x-over and then go to the mid and tweeter. Is there signal for the highs going to the 6.5"?

if you have factory infinity, the signal going into the door is coming from a crossover in the amp, so there will be no highs going into the door.

Well after tearing into my '02 QC with Infinity, the factory amp is 4 channel not 6. The wires going to the front woofer and tweeter are split somewhere in the wire harness and come from the same channel. If you look, they are the same color wires and there is only one set of this color coming out of the amp. I took the woofer wire and hooked it to the crossover input of my components and got the full frequency range.
