Subject: Lanzar DCT Tweeters ??

Hey guys, are Lanzar DCT silk dome tweeters crap? Anyone know the difference between Lanzar DCT and TCS tweeters? The DCT's are cheaper, but handle more power Are they worth $15? or should I invest the $15 into a set of realy good silk dome tweeters, Infinity, Polk, MB Quart.

I am running an Orion 50X4ch amp on the mids/tweets and my current tweeters are too bright, friggin take your head off on a symbol crash or when someone says "ssss" Anyone had good or bad luck with Lanzar speakers? Anyone had good luck with other silk dome tweeters?

Looking for some tweeters that aren't so bright. I listen to metal and country, so there's a wide varity music range that the tweeters will see.

Thanks chris, I had Focal mids and inverted tweets in my car about 10 years ago. They were great speakers, but too much for my budget now. Wife and kids change the priority's a little.

I am looking for tweeters that sound good without spending a ton of money. I drive a lot and want something that sounds good. But, I don't want to buy the Lanzars in the hopes that they are acceptable only to find out that they were a waste of money.

Thanks for the input.
