Subject: Factory Infinity Problem???

Hey Everybody,
I am new to the world of Dodge.. I was formerly a GM Owner..
Well my question. Friday morning i was heading out to go to WAWA and my Stereo stopped working. I thought no big deal i wanted to get a new one anyway.. because my Factory Infinity is a casette player.. So i went and got a new Pioneer Head unit with adapter plate & Wiring Harness. But to my surprise.. that unit did not work either.. until i unplugged it from the wiring harness and hooked the Hot & Grounds directly to the fuse block & the chassis, everything came on just fine then.. everytime i tried to turn the Pioneer head unit on with the wiring harness.. it would just flash for a second, and i would hear a click behind the ashtray.. I found a relay behind there.. I replaced that & i kept on doing the same thing.. So today i said to hell with the wiring harness.. I was going to just do it the by hard wiring everything. But when i went to pull the door speakers out, they have 4 wires going to them.. I am assuming they are like that because there is what apears to be a crossover attached to the speaker to seperate the frequencies from the tweeter & woofer.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. It sucks driving without any music. If i can figure out why it stopped working in the first place i would love that. I could just plug & play without having to fish speaker wire..

i would try running just the key-on and memmory wires to the pioneer from the fuse box. key-on is red and memmory is yellow or light orange usually, and make sure the ground strap is good to go, not loose, cut, corroded, or disconnected.use the adapter for everything else and make sure to hook up the amplifier turn on wire from the pioneer to the wire adapter so the infinity amp will still work.
