I've got an '01 regular cab (ie no back seat) and I'm looking at putting a better system in it. First of all, any suggestions about a place to hide a sub/amp? I was thinking I could pull out that worthless middle seat and put a sub box there, but that still leaves a place for the amp. Any suggestions?? Also, I just assumed that it was only a 4 speaker set up, since there really is no room behind the front seats, yet crutchfield lists speakers in the door and behind the seats. Is this correct?

There are speakers behind the seats, i have a '01 regular cab also and i want to replace the stock stereo but i dont know ANYTHING about stereos so i dont know what to buy other than a new head unit. But there are speakers behind the seats i think they are 4 inch or 5.25 inch.
I think you could put a amp under one of the seats for your subwoofer.
