Hey Guys, I just got my Dakota and I'm trying to get it fixed up a little bit at a time as time goes on, but my main focus right now is getting a CD player in it and some speakers. Could anyone tell me what would probably be my best selection for a CD player around $150 and speakers for around the same. Thanks for the info.

Pioneer DEH-P74DH is about $130-140, DEH-P77DH is about $170-180 online. I have heard good things about these decks, have a 77 but have not installed it yet. They also fit exactly into the Dak dash without an adapter, help me out here guys, up to 2001???. I think they changed the Dak dash in 2002 so these head units don't fit right. The 77 has 3 sets of RCA's F&R and sub, while the 74 only has only 2 sets of RCA's F&R.

Got the DEH-P77DH and a P686 6 disc changer from Etronics.com for $325 shipped. You could look at Ebay, that's where I started out, but I found that it was cheaper to buy direct from thier website when buying multiple items.

Speakers are your preference, the more you spend the better they should sound, 6.5" front and rear. I went with some Ebay bargain basement Quadrasub 6.5" components F&R, $50 for all, sorry they are all gone now. Keep your eye out as things come up on Ebay all the time if you can wait. I started buying stuff a month ago and am still cruising Ebay to get my last amp. I think I am going to spend around $600 for the deck, changer, 2 sets of components and 2 amps.
