 Subject: Ram Inifnity system

Anyone know anything about it? Are the rear
speakers, small subs or full range? Are they
amped sepertly, or is the hole system on one?
And if so where are the dam things! Don't
know where the factory amps are. Is there a
way to add 2 6x9's to the factory system. They
are nice bostons but I don't want to f*ck up the
factory system! Sorry for the load of crap I just
dumped on you guys. If anyone takes the time
to sort through it,Thanx!

Full range, I think they're co-axial.

On a '95, each speaker has its own amplifier attached. I don't know why Harman did this, but they did.

Well, you'd have to pull the factory 6x9s (in the doors), pull the amps off, attach them to the new ones. A lot of hassle, really.

If you're careful I doubt you'll hose it, but there is another catch. The amps are equalized for the factory speakers, and new speakers may not sound as good.

I don't beleve that there are any 6x9's in my
ram. There are seperates in the doors and 5
1/2 speakers in the rear, right by the rear
passengers feet. The 6x9's I have now are
wierd through the rear speakers in their own
boxes under the rear seat. The tweaters work
but arn't running, which leads me to beleve
that the rear speakers are subs.

Yes there are.

True, there's a 6x9 woofer and a separate tweeter.

Yea, you are right. Did some looking today and discoverd the 6x9's. The rears are coaxils{not the best placement}, And my 6x9's are wired to the woffers and not the tweeters,thus no tweeters.
I'm going to take my bostons and put them in the stock locations,then maby replace the rears with some kenwood mids. that I have and reroute the tweeters to the cupholders in the rear for better imageing for the rear passengers.
