Subject: MTX Thunderform Question
IP: Logged

Message:
Will the rear seat still be usable with a Thunderform in a club cab? Will it still sit flat like it does stock? The pics of the thunderforms i've seen look like they are slanted. Thanks

So the rear seat will be just like it is now just a inch or so higher? It won't sit at an angle?

they are still useable but they sit on a little bit of an angle...not much though...trust me...thunderforms are well worth it! I pull in parking lots bumpin' and people are like "da*nnnnn" and then they look inside and it looks completely stock and they are a bit puzzled...hahaha

Not to been a jerk but,

You can get a loaded and amped thunderfrom for less that 340 online.

But if the above poster's amp is not the intergrated one it would depend on the amp that he is offering.

Make sure you look at all you options first.

I loved mine. Nice deep bass. Won't blow the doors off but it'll out perform a lot of other sub setups. The box is well tuned

mash, without doing alot of mods, the easiest place to put the amp is under the seat..that is if your amp is not to tall

i mounted my amps in the rear sidewall enclosures.

you remove the plastic panels...cut a hole just large enough for the amp to slip thru the sheetmetal...bolt it to the sheetmetal with bushings to stand the amp far enough out that the plastic panel clips will not be interfered with when reinstalling them..1/2" or so...tune the sound well..then install the plastic panels.

i have an amp on each side....almost forgot they are there.
