Hi guys,

My name is Ben and I have been a long time lurker of these forums. Well this is my delema. On September 8th I ordered my loaded and amped thunderfrom for my 2000 dakota CC from EliteCustoms.com. At first I was warry of ordering from jonas but I have heard from many mebers here that he is a great person to deal with. I was originaly going to order from nexxon.com but I was told by many never to order from there.

Part I - The order. So I e-mailed Jonas back and forth for a few days and I finaly desided to order from him (his price $435.00 shipped!). Well when i called Jonas answered and was VERY helpfull and profesional. I was quite please he took my credit card # and my address and promptly e-mailed me a my reseet ( Ok so everything was going great. I was preparing to move up to my college and I awaited my package. So the next monday comes around and I have no package. N/P I said probably just a day late. But just to be sure I called Jonas back to make sure.

Part II - Iritation insues. Upon getting ahold of jonas he said that the item was on backorder and that it would be shipped in 2 day MAX! UGG I was upset but I understood. Sometimes things don't always go right. Jonas told me that On wendnessday (the 17th) he would e-mail me a copy of my tracking # and all would be well. saddened by the news and the fact that I resived NO NOTICE ABOUT THE BACKORDER I awaited my tracking #.

Part III Meltdown. well wendnessday arrived and I was sent no tracking # or other e-mails. So i called again. This time to only get the answering machene. Ok I will just leave a message and they will e-mail or call me back right??? WRONG!!! Thursday I called eary in the morning No answer. I called again later in the after noon. NO ANSWER. ok ok ok not a problem they are probably out for the day I an sure that if I leave an e-mail I will get a reply. so off to the net I go. I write a though e-mail regarding the where abouts of my package. Well anyone who has ordered from elitecustoms.com knows that if you e-mail there company you will instantly recive an e-mail back to verify that it was recived. I got my verification and i sat back and waited.

Part IV - Nuclear winter. well gentelmen (and women) here I am. almost 2 weeks have passed since I have been able to reach jonas. I have left 7 emails!!! 5 phone messages!!!!! and I have made a total of 53 CALLS!!! once every hour that they have been open. today is wednessday the 24. I am moving up to my college to start school. I can no longer wait here from my package. I have not ONCE had a call returned or a e-mail responded too. I have NO package and I am leaving. This is TOTALY UNACEPTABLE!!! So you fine people are my last resort befor I have to call the better buissness bureu. Please if you know of ANY way to reach elitecustoms, jonas, or his boss John PLEASE I beg of you reply. I still very much want my package. but now I will have to dirve 2 hours south to come back and pick it up from my home. All I realy want it to know it HAS BEEN SENT and where it is.

I thank anyone who had the resolve to read my entire article. I still belive that jonas and elitecustoms are a good company and will do the right thing but like I have said thoughout my post this is unaceptable.

Backorder: The result of a product not being instock and the manufactuer not having them instock either. Your order was placed with MTX the very day that you placed it with us. As soon as it arrives it will ship out to you and your tracking number will be emailed to you. It will ship UPS.

You should have received this message by email, assuming that you entered your correct email when you ordered your product. There was a small time that our servers were down while switching..

If you have any other problem, or would simply like a refund and cancel the order just let us know.

Bah... I was gonna buy a MTX thuderform from elite customs, but I changed my mind last week because I want to bought solobaric 12" L5 instead of buying CVR 10" so now I got to make a custom box.

But anyway enough about me. This is pretty F_ck_d up do you know if they have already charged your credit card cause if they did then report them to better buissness bureu because they shouldn't of cashed your payment till they sent out your product or atleast thats how all good buisness do it.

Hey guys,

Update. I FINALY got my thunderfrom today after 1 month of waiting. WORKS GREAT hits REALY hard. I am still mad about the lack or responce to my calls of e-mails. But like jonas said it was on back order (it realy was MTX said so). So all I can say is that elitecustoms shipped the item as soon as they got it. BUT, and this is a big but, I still feel that it was totaly unprofesional for them to never return calls or e-mails. Only when I made this post was I able to get a responce. So BE CAREFULL!!!!

I live in a small town just north of seattle WA. I was told that I was just about the farthest away from them as you can get and it would take a little longer to get my package.
One thing I can tell all of you is this:

I have just started to get in to the car audio thing. I have always been into computers and such, and there is one thing I learned when I had a package come to me everyday.

SOMETIMES THEY WILL NOT DROP YOUR PACKAGE OFF WITHOUT A SIG!!! Also I have notice MANY times that they will not leave there sticky that you can sign when you are not home. So here is a tip.

Place a note on your door saying this and ONLY this.

Dear delivery person it is OK (make ok capital and BIG) to leave packages.

This has been a life saver for me. I seemed to NEVER be home when they wanted to deliver my package and I had MANY that I had to go down to there office to pick up (PITA). Make sure the note is HAND WRITTEN and placed where they can clearly see it. I got this info from a UPS delivery person :). By now I know them all (they come once a day to drop off computer stuff) they all knock on my window and show me my packages.

The only other advice is this. In a msg placed a week or so ago JONAS said he sent you an e-mail with your tracking # in it matt. Now I trust jonas just about as far as I can throw him. But when they told me they sent it I got my tracking order.

Note to others again. I HOPE TO GOD everyone knows how to use a tracking # but for the few that do not here is some advice. EVERY reputable mail service has a tracking network. All you have to do is go to the company's sight and place you # in there tracking section.

Hope this helps someone. I may not be able to tell any of you how to even check how much oil is in your car/truck but I can answer all your shipping and computer q's. It is my specialty.

thanks Ben for the help. I appreciate it. But Jonas never sent me a tracking # like he said he did. Thats what pisses me off. I haven't seen any UPS stickers, papers, etc on the door so I know they havent come yet. I emailed Jonas 2 more times and I have tried to call him 8 times. I also have put a post on the Delphi R/T Forums (jonas responded to 15 people on that). I just want my damn package or a refund. I have been waiting patiently for a long time.

I am at work Right now so I hope I don't get in trouble...

Well that really is it for me. I got my package and I am glad but if there is one thing I can not stand is when other GOOD people get scammed. I find the fact that jonas told you that he sent you a tracking #, and that he did not, well TOTALY UNACEPTABLE! I have kept saying that smae line over and over but enough is enough. As soon as I get off work I will be placing a call to the BBB about jonas and his CRAPPY company!

Jonas if you are reading this I AM PISSED!!! Yes I got my package yay for me... BUT JESUS CHRIST get your $hit together. Matt sent his money 1 WEEK!!! before I sent mine he has been billed and I am at my ends with you CRAP ASS COMPANY!

Alright Thanks alot Ben. I really do appreciate you helping me out. But I told Jonas that I didn't receive a tracking number on the Delphi Forums but he didn't respond back to me. There also is a few other people that go to that website that haven't received their products. So I know that I'm not he only one.

One of the guys was, or still is, in the process of getting a lawyer. He convinced me that I was screwed and lost my money so I was checking on getting a lawyer. After Jonas responded on this site and on the Delphi Forums, I never finshed getting a lawyer because I thought I was going to receive my product. I hope he responds back to me soon because I dont want it to lead to that.

That would just be a pain in the ass but it would get the job done.

Jonas, if you read this, please email me ASAP. I dont want this to lead to further action but I am going to do what I can to get my damn Thunderform.

The BBB is the better buisness bureu (sorry for spelling). Theyn are a organization that has GREAT info on companys and you can file complaints with them against other fraudulent companies. I am not quite sure what they can do but they seem to be the people to talk to. I called last night but I never got though (sorry).

It is under premer automotive his OLD company name. DO NOT let anyone tell you that is the wrong place. LOOK AT THE PHONE #. 1-618-866-2664 the SAME # we have all been calling. note at the bottom where it says

"The Bureau has requested basic information from this company. The Bureau has not received a response."

But is also says that they have had 2 complaints and 2 RESOLVED problems. Call or file with them. They hopefully will get somethinjg going for you.

Yes that was me posting. I got an e-mail from ANOTHER matt hat I have been working with. He ordered a loaded thunderfrom too 5 weeks ago. I THOUGHT IT WAS YOU LOL!!! So matt the other mat goes by the user name "ominous" here. I will continue to help you matt but I think I might need to know a bit more info on you exact order and when you ordered it. The other matt that I have been talking to got his thunderfrom on friday and he is happy with it.

Its alright. I was getting confused there too! LoL. What is the best way I can get in contact with Jonas? I want to talk to him badly to see whats going on with it.

Well, I don't even think I have an order number. I called Jonas and talked to him on the phone. He gave me the price and I told him I was going to send the money via Paypal. So, while I was still on the phone with him, I sent the money with Paypal and labeled everything and such. I have the Transaction number from Paypal if that helps...... I just emailed you Ben with the number and the receipt. I hope this helps.

I just need the best way to talk to Jonas. Thanks again for the help. Did that other Matt who ordered the Thunderform get a tracking # with his box?

I have never bought anything with paypal. I use CC only. So I do not know what is going on with your order. If you did get in contact with jonas he sould have e-mailed you a ORDER # it is about 6 nubers long. That is what I need if you do not have one. They I defenatly sugest you find some sort of legal action.

Now unfortunatly my student loans fell though (how can something be approved then fall though?!?!?!?!) So I am kinda hard up for cash and moving back home for a bit ( SUCK!!!). So forgive the lastness of any future replys.

I will get back to you. But feel free to e-mail me or write back here.

You may want to check with paypal and see if you money have been taken. I belive they have a 30 day ONLY! option incase of scams. This is why e-bay uses it. Check to see if you can stop transaction or get your money back.

I just keep calling and calling. It is still very hard to get though. But because of that try to e-mail him at his NEW e-mails. I do not have them offhand but look though this post and the other 2 on the preformance board. KEEP TRYING. I do not know what to tell you with paypal though.

one thing I can tell you is that once I left a message that I was going to STOP PAYMENT (which I think paypal can do ???) they responded quickly.

Anyway like I said I am moving back down home, so I can't reply for a while. TRY EMAIL or see what paypal can do. I am realy sorry that I can not give you any more help. This is all I can offer at this time.
