I have a 99 CC Dak with Stock speakers. I just bought an Alpine CD receiver off of EBay and want to upgrade my sepakers to get more out of my new deck.
I do not plan to add an amp or additional speakers at this time, I just want to put speakers in the 4 stock locations (I think the are 6.5") that can handle any sound.
I'm a bit confused speaker types, 2 way, 3 way, woofers???? I just want a speaker upgrade without changing anything else. I could use some help identifying what kind of speaker I should be looking for...and any suggestions on makes and models that will work.

The best thing for you would be to buy some
coxaials[spelling!].They have two or more
separt drivers usally a tweeter and a woofer.
You can get what you need at your local audio
shop or best buy. You could even buy from
walmart. Now I know that sounds dumb but I
have installed Lightning Audio in 2 of my
friends cars in the parking lot, Not 2 ghetto!
Everyone craps on lightning but the fact is that
if you arn't running a amp to them they will
sound great . I put 2 6x9's in my friends olds
and it sounds like he has a small sub. Hope
this helps!
