I know you all have the most experience about this…
First off I drive a ’00 QC 4.7L auto with the 40/20/40 bench in front and of course the 60/40 rear seat.
I want to take out my change tray thing and the bottom seat portion of my armrest and build a new box/console that goes from the bottom of the dash all the way under the armrest and back to the rear seats. But, I want to keep the top part of the armrest and its’ “fold-ability.” I know I will lose my cup-holders so I’m gonna need some more of those, and I’m gonna need a new change holder thing, but I want it to be deeper. One day I think I want to mount my amps in the box/console… or maybe some 8’s like I know a few of you have done already? I just don’t EVER let anyone sit there, and the crap holder, doesn’t hold crap.
Any suggestions?

Do a search on center consoles or something to that effect...I know tons of people out here rip out the stock ones and customize their own
