I think my creativeness smoke was let out of the bottle. I was thinkin of makeing an incloser around where the bottom speaker and fittin a 5.5 and a heavy 6.5 midbass ....... I also wanna keep the silly pocket ( I really dont know why!)anyone got any creative ideas before i go I start warmin up the saw and fiberglass resin? thought if I had a pic of some, might help me find some of that smoke I let loose in my last install. I was thinkin I might have to wipe out the paint gun as welland............ darn.......... no magic smoke
anyone???

You probably have already done your project but if not...consider making enclosures in the foot area. You should put the 5.25's and the tweet there and the 6.5 in the door. The closer the tweet and mid driver are the better and the distance from each of floor locations to the driver ear is much closer then the factory door locations. The 6.5 is going to be doing bass to mid-bass duty so its location is less important.

thats pretty much what I end up doing was make my own kick panels. I'll be covering them by this weekend. The only thing different from what you suggested was I just swaped out the tweets from the stock location and what a crummy location at that!

Next week I should be tackling the 6.5. Planing on fiberglassing some of the inside to make a makeshift box for it. Figured might as well since I got all this fiberglass out

word of advice about making kickerpanels. If you got the infinity upgrade, the amp really throws off your design unless you

A. take the amp out
B. pull the other one out more and not use the foot brake
C. just press on and dont mind the little differences between the 2 kickers pods
