The square kicker solo barics kick ass. Ive got friends that have the S12L7's and the S10L7's. Ive ordered some S10L7's and i cant wait to hook em up. the 10" run 300w per coil rms. i personally think they sound the best n a ported box

Cool, thanks for the info.....oh, what do ya mean by "ported box"? (anyone can answer that one if answer known).. I am wanting to get the stealth box under my extended cab back seat and have the seat lifted more above the box to allow sound waves to flow out...... is that ok for the kickers?

Well they do sound good, but I have had no luck with them. My orion amb keeps blowing them. I have exausted the warranty on my second repalcement. If you eant to get them make sure not to hook them up in a srong amp. My orion 275-g4 blew them and my new orion 2500-d also blew them at only 2 ohm load...now I am looking to get the new orion h2's

mabey you are a a stupid a$$ because u turn it up to loud. that is what the gain is for. amps dont put out a set amount of power that has to go into the sub. you probably had it in the wrong volume box too i have never blown an L7 my buddy has 1200 watts to each L7 12 and they dont blow

eloy - what kind of box you got 'em in? I'd bet that's the problem. If the box is too big or if it's ported with out a sub-sonic filter you'll toast them very easily. Orion amps put out more than they are rated at, so you could have overpowered them as well.

Cole - they hit hard and go DEEP, but are not the most musical subs in the world. I think their upper-bass performance is nothing to write home about. But the low end is awesome and that's what subs are for anyway right? :) Get some good mid-bass speakers to add to them and you'll be jamming.

I've got a SL58 in a sealed box with 220 watts, but have heard that the ported boxes slam even harder if you have the room & box building skills to make it happen. What are the specs (air volume) on the stealth box your looking at? Just make sure it's with-in Kickers specs!

haha thanks guys... They seem like they are good, but I think I've decided on some Eclipse subs... I think I may get a kicker to add some more bass though later on.... I saw where some guy made a custom box to fit behind his middle comparment with a S10L7 in it...fits well for his QC, I just gotta see if I can make it with with my CC...I am gonna be using a stealthbox, so maybe I can modify it....after all, i don't need the middle of my back seat anyways...I only want 4 passangers...screw having 5 in my truck at once ;)
