does a t-form have a amp rack? Does the jl put out good bass since it is only an 8"? I am looking for decent bass bothing earth shattering to replace my sony xplod with 300 watt amp that got jacked? I was looking for camparable bass and something that can't be seen, since my shiz got jacked b/c you could see it.

A single 8" can throw down pretty hard... you might be surprized. My Kicker L58 goes low, it's not crazy loud, but I'm running it with only 220 watts. I'd say the JL is better then the MTX.
What did you have before?

I had the new pentagon shaped sony xplod 10" sub. It didn't bang but it was good enough.
