 Subject: blown door speakers

i just replaced my stock cd player with a new pioneer head unit. I have the infinity upgraded system already. after everything was all plugged in i cranked the music and the front door speakers bleww. I was wondering what i should do. some people have said to bypass the stock amp that came with the truck and some have said to just not use the amp in the new stereo. I dont know a whole lot about stereos so any help would be great. I think the reason for the speakers blowing is cuz too much power from the stock amp and the new stereo is being sent to the speakers...but i dunno......any help would be great
