 Subject: Subwoofers in the bed with a hard top?

I was wondering if anyone has installed a subwoofer system in the bed of their trucks. I have a 2000 dak with a sealed hard top on the bed and was thinking of putting 2 12's back there. Has anyone done this? and if so will it affect the sound positively or negatively? Maybe someone can give me some help with how to go about wiring something like this up.
