My stepson has been urging me to ask all of you how you feel about Legacy amps. He also has plans of putting a system in his car and has found some Legacy amps he would consider using. Is this a decent quality amp?

i have a 2x900 legacy amp. (its red with a chrome cover plate) had it for a yr, something burned up inside, so i sent it in to legacy and they fixed it, it works great

Ya, I have seen those amps before really cheap in price. You could always go with Kenwood or Pioneer and get a little warrenty with the product you buy....those amps still run cheap and are not too bad.

i wouldnt use it. if u want a good cheap amp buy a jbl at www.hypaudio.com or get A lanzar on ebay or at any site. lanzar offers a 5 yr warranty and if u mess the am up in any way they fix it.
