 Subject: 99 Ford Escort SE Sport Amp Installation

I've got everything set up and laid out, I'm down to putting the power wire through the firewall, and... I can't really find any place it'll fit through... It's an 8ga Monster Cable power wire, nothing huge or anything, but I can't find any place that it'll go through, anyone know of a place I can stick it?

My wife has a 2002 escort/ZX2 and the amp lead is run through the steering wheel grommet, it had 1"+ of room next to it, might be easier to look under the dash and run the wire out through there to the battery. the emergency brake cable also has a grommet that goes through the firewall.
