hey i finally got the nerve to put a box in my qc. i took out the seats to remove the center console. i had my brother in law cut out the pieces to the box 10 1/2" across x 24" front to back x 12" high and is made of 1/2" mdf. i have one sub facing toward the front and one facing toward the back. the subs are the 10" kenwood tornados(for now) being pushed by a 440sx profile amp stored under the 40 side of the 60/40 split bench. it sounds good, but you know kenwood(not the greatest)but ok for now. i hope to upgrade to audiobahn or rockford soon. i was told that facing the subs like this would cancel out the sound, but it actually hits pretty good. even though my arm is resting on the box, i cant really feel the vibrations. and the it didnt really cost that much to make(abt $50). compared what i would have been charged if i would have went to audio express.
