Go to PepBoys (or similar in your area) and buy the wiring harness... it makes life so much easier and it cost like $7.

check your fuses. clarions ar famous for blowing fuses. i helped a two friends put a clarion head unit. one in a 94 tacoma and one in a 90 jeep yj. we changed 4 fuses all together. one the clarions are in they are awesome, but they are a hassel to get it. hope this helps.
