 Subject: Infinity upgrade...farting?

So if I turn the bass up too high, or turn the volume up too high, I get what I can only describe as a "farting" sound from my speakers. I guess I wish I hadn't gone for the Infinity upgrade...so is it the amp or the speakers...or both??

it's the speakers distorting. They are trying to produce low end at a high volume and they are not designed to do it.
