Subject: tform installation .. no manual, help!

Message:
ey guys, I'm ready to intall my tform this weekend but I don't have a manual I got it used. Oddly enough mtx doesn't offer a pdf or anything online, I called and they said they would email me something if they had it but no response. Anyhow, is there anything super tricky I need to look out for? .. basically I assume I'll have to completly remove the back seats to get the old box out/new box in.. what angle is best to attack from driver or passenger side and will I have to remove any of the front seats? Are there any special hex bolts or anything that I need an excuse to run to sears for : o )?

thanks everyone!

hmm, by now its probably too late, but here goes....

1) Remove front seat belt botls (front and rear)
2) Pull off top pannels (they should just pop off if your careful)
3) pull off bottom pannels and kinda set them outside of the truck (the front seat belts will still be fed thru them)
4) Remove rear seat back. You should see screws holding it to the backwall in a few places, if I remember correctly there was one behind the cushioned part...be careful with that peice.
5) unbolt stock tool tray
6) fit T-form in, line up holes...I coudln't get all of them to line up, mine's only in with three or 4 of the 5 bolts...I forget, but it works.
7) Put all back together in reverse order.

I did not have to remove the seats themselves, though due to the "new" slope of the T-form, I did have to raise the seats up a little higher where they attatched to the back-wall so that they would go down all the way.
