i have it narrowed down to either pioneer or alpine. let me know what model you have and what you like about it. looking to stay under 3-350 on ebay. not even sure if i am getting one cuz i have a few questions. W/ the infinity amp, how would i hookup a HU. will the amp still power the speakers and the HU powers just the rears or what. And how hard is an 00dak to install a HU?

I paid more than what you are looking to spend ($530) but my Alpine CDA-7998 is amazing, I would recommend it over the Pioneer, I have had them before and they are ok, but I wanted higher quaulty and performance. As for the install, the 2000 has a different style reciever than my 2002, but it wouldn't be too hard to do by its self, but I also don't have the infinity system. Oh and Eclipse is great too... just make sure if you get one with 8 volt preamp outs, your amps you want to hook up will handle that much input voltage.

Good luck,

Andrew

I agree, I had a jensen hu but it was litterally a piece of crap, so i decided to buy another deck. The eclipse is to me one of the best brands you can buy. it even has a unique security feature.
