 Subject: MTX AMP

So I bought a MTX 8302 amp from a friend of mine, and
when I was reading about it, the information with it said
it makes 300 Watts RMS @12.2 Volts or 425 Watts
@14.4 Volts. I was wondering, if I hook it up to my
battery with 4 gauge wiring, would it draw 12 or 14
volts.. I looked and there is no switch on it to change the
two settings. Any Ideas?

if you add a 1 farad pwer cap it will bump it up to 14.4
