I just got a new Alpine deck and amp and am putting in an MTX Thunderform w/ 2 10's. I want to put an alarm in also, but don't want an expensixe/complex one. Any suggestions?

Directed Electronics Inc. (DEI) is the company that makes the Python, Viper and Sidewinder. I think they also make the Rattler keyless entry system that I believe is sold by Circuit City.

The DEI products are very high quality for a very good price. Very reliable, they last for years and are simple to operate. You should be able to get a basic alarm for about $175 to $225 installed at any good car audio shop. Not sure on the price if you buy it over the counter and install it yourself. I'm not sure DEI lets its dealers sell their products without installation.
