I was just wondering,im still going with kicker either way.

what would be louder/better?

2 sony xplod 12, together holding 500 watts

or

1 kicker L7 12 holding 750 watts?

it would be some where close in price

I have respect for pretty much all subs on the market with the exception of Sony. The subs are just not any good.

Definitely go with Kicker.

Sony car audio just plain sucks, sony subs are only good for candy dishes and bean dip bowels. Go kicker.

oh yeah I was defineatly going with kicker. You took my question the wrong way, its hard to say. Let me restate the question.

I wanted to get 2 kicker L7 12s. but it was going to cost more then i wanted to power them. (1500watts rms)

if i used a 600.1 watt amp to power both of these setups what would be louder?

2 Comp VR 12(total 800watts rms)
or
1 L7 12 (750watts)

Since they both require the about the same amount of watts and both will be getting the same amount watts.
