I've never done this before but used a thing called a line out converter or something like that. (I don't remember the name of it) It lets you use interconnects. I used to use this to connect my amp with the stock HU. It only cost me $15.
I guess that it will work fine with your eq. I cannot guarantee though.

Why don't you go to your nearby shop and ask?

You could make it work but it would be a real hack job. Spend your money on a head unit instead.

IF you want to run it from the cd player to the EQ, to the stock amp, I dont know how that would work. What I did was, as surfin mentioned, was to take a line out converter, and run that from the door speakers to the input of the EQ. From there I hooked up my amps which I use for the door speakers and sub. I chose this since I already had the equipment, and wanted the stock look (I could hid the EQ). If you want better sound quality and do not care about looks, an aftermarket CD player with some sort of EQ built in would probably do more for the less money.

My setup was free since I had the parts. I do not have the infinity setup, I just have the CD player. It sounds ALOT better than stock, but when I ran everything off an aftermarket CD player, it sounded alot cleaner. I did have to buy a noise filter as well since I had quite a bit of alternator noise coming through, and I could not find the source, except for the line out converter that I used. I still have a little coming through, but it is only noticeable when the volume is all the way down.
