Subject: Subs Are Not Working
IP: Logged

Message:
I have (2) 12' audiobahn subs in a ported box with a power input meter for each sub. The other day subs were hitting just fine, then they stopped hitting all at once. So I took the radio out and messed with some wires because I thought something might have came loose. After messing with the wires the subs started working again. Then the next day I took the subs out of the box and took them inside and hooked them up to my radio and the subs are still not working at all. Does anyone know what is wrong with my subs?...are they blown or locked up?

Thanks in advance

if only one voice coil is working you have to be sure that you connect the leads to both sets of terminals on the subs or otherwise you are only attempting to drive one coil
