Anyone tried the Flow Master American Thunder set up?
I want a bit of the "Tool Man" (OK to rattle neighbors windows in the AM sound, but not so loud that it is uncomfortable inside the cab.

Any/all comments on Flow Master exhaust would be greatly appreciated.

I've run them for years. Love the sound...hate the popping noise on deceleration.

Hey Bernd,

I have the popping on my 3 chamber single outlet. Judging from your statements and others on the DML, I gather that the popping is bad? I've always enjoyed the popping (or gurgling as I call it) on decelleration. Any harm from the popping?

Thanks.

No...it's not bad. It's just that normal (annoying) Flowmaster "pop".

I put the Gibson dual outlet on mine today......love the sounds...deep and throaty like a solid V8...without the "piss off the neighborhood" factor...It fit perfect..now all I need is a good set of tips..

This post started 3 years ago!

Well, I have a 3 inch Flowmaster 40 series reduced down to the 2 1/2 inch pipe.

I think it sounds focking great. No popping, but I have an auto so maybe that is why.

Here's what it sounds like http://www.paysonarizona.net/DakFlow.mp3
