Subject: '93 4x4 lift ?'s
IP: Logged

Message:
i have a '93 4x4 with 3.9L. i wanted to lift it and get some mean looking tires. my goal is to get it sitting on 35's. the highest lift i have seen for my model is the 4/3 from trailmaster. i wanted to know if this is the tallest lift for my year. if i can't get up to 35's i was thinking about a body lift. if i can get the size tire i want, what else do i have to seriosly worry about(gearing, driveshaft length, brake lines, etc.)

also i have been looking for custom bumpers for my year. i like the look of the reunel front and rear bumpers but they don't make them for my truck. if anything, i need a strong rear step bumper that looks good. Thanks for any help!

The Trailmaster 4" kit is the only suspension lift available for 91-96 Dakotas. Combined with a 3” body lift you will be able to fit 33’s. I have both kits on my 88 with the torsion bars cranked and add-a-leafs in the rear. It total my suspension is lifted 5½” in the front and 4½” in the rear plus the 3” body lift. I tried 35’s on the truck, but had little room for suspension travel in the front. I sized down to a 33x13.50 instead.
