 i have checked all my fuses but i have no power going to my back up lights i called the dealership today and they couldnt find a listing for a neutral saftey switch for a 2000 sport 4.7L w/ 45rf tranny can anyone help me?

 Do you have a Tow Pkg. I've read about some guy's having trouble with the harness connector getting corosion in it and causing problems with rear lights

 This is a common problem on dakotas and durangos.  In fact, I have the same problem.
 
 The issue is the switch on the outside of the transmission.  It is prone to corrosion and craps out as a result.  If you have 4wd, that one is located on the transfer case and often has the same problem.
 
 Neither swtich (light) works on my truck, and I plan on fixing both this weekend.
