 Subject: Members Only Forums

I will be adding more members only forums as alternatives to the open forums, this being the alternative to the General Board. They will all remain in tact but in seperate categories. Ideas for topics can be posted here. I figure we could start off with 5 or 6 then add more eventually. I put in a vote for a Members Only version of the Performace Board and the Off Topic Board. Any other suggestions? Maybe an Off Road one too.

PS, I would say just this one, an off road one and a performance one. No since in over kill yet. The street guys can do their thing on the performance board, us 4x4 heads on the offroad and everything else here for now.

I like Hawkeyes idea. If we go with alot more forums it's going to get old switching back & fourth. Perhaps a General Members forum would be good also..
General, 4x4, Performance. That's just my thoughts though.

I agree, a few to start and as the member base grows, may need to create more specific forums. I kinda like the Off-Topic Forum too, if used properly, you can keep the General Forum uncluttered with non-Dak related threads and have some oldfashioned fun on the side.
Maybe and Off-Topic/Announcements Forum would work? Could use it for more personal offerings too like, "Just Got Married", "Just Became Engaged", "Today's My Birthday!", "Just Ordered My New Dak!", "Just Robbed a Bank to Buy a S/C", j/k. I would like to "get to know" everyone a little better, some may not, that's ok we can still have the same fun!!!!!! OK that's my long winded opinion, I gotta go find my Voltmeter and Soldering Iron to install my "Tru Speed" finally since I have a moment to myself:)

Ported throttle body, IAT adjuster, 3" flowmaster cat back, TPS @ .76v, 4" cold air, Roadmaster active suspention.

can we have it so only members can view the threads in the members only section? so you have to enter your name and password before you can even enter the fouums. that might encourage more people to join, so they can see whats behind the "closed door"
just an idea. if you dont like it, no hard feelings.

At first I was thinking - there's so many good guys on the forum it would be a shame to exclude them, but the membership is such a bargain! Let everybody who benefits from this forum support Mark. I dunno that we need a whole lot more categories, I'm still going to be a regular reader of the others, but it's nice to have an exclusive place if it gets polluted out there again.

The Custom Style boards has always been a lot of help.
