I have a 00 slt extended cab with a 4.7 that has power locks that go nuts.

The switches stopped working about 4 years ago, although the locks would trigger at 15 mph. Now the go off all the time. Running, off, whenever...sometimes a few time in a minute..it sound slike there is a selanoid going crazy at times under the passangers side kick panel..

I pulled the fuse...i lost my wipers, interior lights....wtf????

Is there a cure or solution for this???

 Thanks

Will unplugging my locks form the switch and/or selanoid in the doors cure this (battery drain & autolocking) problem? I relaly could care less if I have power locks or not at this point....
