I have a 2001 dakota the check engine lights has been on the truck is running fine but its giving me the code 0442 anybody able to tell me what that is??

P0442 Evap Leak Monitor Medium Leak Detected

Make sure your fuel cap is threaded correctly and tightened all the way. Then clear your DTC's.
If the code shows up again, replace your gas cap.

It happened to me on my 2001 Dakota.

Check out this thread. Sometimes (like with me) the problem wasn't solved with a new gas cap. It's the hoses if it persists.
