 Subject: fuel pump

I have a '94 dakota. My fuel pump just went for the 2nd time. Because of the cost, my question is this- Can I put an in-line, electric fuel pump between the tank and engine? Can I do this with the old pump still in the tank?

yeah them fuel pumps suck but try to install like same year caravan fuel pump or a 5.9 ram fueal pump
