 Subject: buying parts for V6

Question for all you V6 owners, when you look for aftermarket parts, cat-back exhaust, air intake, spark plug wires, etc.. do you just order the parts for the V8? I have a 97 V6 and want the previous three things but have been unable to locate those specifially for the V6. Also I like the Gibson split rear exhaust, will this fit with the spare tire on a 2WD Sport with roll-pan?

On the V6, yes...you can use the V8 parts but to a point. The Superchargers, Throttle Bodies and (some) exhaust systems will fit. However, there are a lot of options for the V6 that are specifically designed for them.
On the Gibson with the spare tire, some have complained and others claim that they fit without any problems. Best thing to do is check with the manufacturer before ordering...just to be safe.
