How much would an entire airbag set up cost? I've seen them in Truckin' magazine for just over a grand inclusing compressors, lines, bags, etc.. etc...

I was wondering if there were better deals or something.

Also, do you have to get C-notch cut out if you use airbags?

It seems like this is a sensitive subject that many people don't want to give answers too....i guess too much pride in doing their own research and don't want to give you the answers you look for. First look to spend around 1500-2000 for a nice fast bag setup from like the hack shack or something. I don't think that will include the 4link or notches or anything extra. If you don't at least do a c-notch its not worth bagging cause you won't come close to laying frame (maybe still 4 inches off the ground?) A monster notch would be the best way to go but requires cutting your frame completely in two. Anyways if you skip the 4link and go with a monoleaf with bags over the axle you wont' be able to go as low either but its like 400 dollars cheaper though. You need a 100% at least 3/4 hp compressor and 5 gallon tank. You need at least 3/8 inch lines as well. If you want F.B.S.S. you will need two valve for each corner unless you get the new three postion valves but I heard they aren't as fast. Even with the above setup expect a 3 minute wait to raise the truck on a empty tank. You could go with nitrogen instead of oxygen but I don't know enough of the advantages and disadvantage of that to point you in the right direction. I do know that everybody who's hopping and fast as hell is using nitrogen. Hope that helps.

I think I spent like close to 1500 just in parts to include a notch and 4-link. Didn't screw around... got what would be the best for a air setup. 1/2 line, brass fittings, 2 Viair450, 4 Blitz valves and a 10gal German military ATV air tank. I got all the Metal brackets and 4link from Jason at www.suicidedoors.com for like 500,
valves was from FBI Chrismas sale and the rest just Wheeled and dealed. Alot more effort but its a way better setup than what most "packages " offer

also .... get atleast a c-notch. if you spent that much on bags... might as well sit as low as possible
