got an 01' dakota, had it dropped 2"/4"... now im lifting it back to stock but the ball joints wont drop so i cant remove the springs... WHAT DO I DO TO SEPPARATE THE BALL JOINT FROM THE UPPER CONTROL AND THE SPINDLE??? plz help guys truck is just sittin in the garrage...
ps. got a chassis tech drop kit now for sale.

you need a pickle fork or B-joint separator auto zone lends these tools out for free

i tried to use the balljoint separator and it was a mess and destroyed the rubber bushings. to seperate the ball joint, just use a light metal hammer and hold it lightly. strike the outside of the ball joint with a lot of force. if u cause enough vibration, the balljoint will just pop loose.
