Message: I noticed the needle on my charging gauge was
slightly higher than normal. I was driving down a
steep grade when the check gauges light illuminated.
I noticed the charging gauge was peaked high. I
turned on the headlights and the check gauges light
went out when I started to go uphill and my speed
slowed. Any idea what might be causing this problem?
